As this strange year draws to a close it is time to reflect back on some of the highlights over the months in the garden. One of the benefits of having to spend more time outside has been to appreciate our gardens and open spaces more. I’ve taken a look back at all the photographs that I’ve taken each month throughout the year and wanted to share these with you. I hope you’ll agree that they are a cheery, uplifting and striking collection. As you scan through the pictures, you will see a wonderful array of colour, depth of texture and vibrancy that brings the garden alive. As we look ahead to 2021, maybe it’s time to renew your interest in gardening and maybe plant up a few containers or refresh your beds and borders as there is nothing more rewarding than planting and seeing the results throughout the year.
“I like gardening — it’s a place where I find myself when I need to lose myself” Alice Sebold
