Canford Cliffs: Modern Contemporary Garden

We recently completed a garden makeover that seamlessly blends indoor comfort with outdoor living. The design flows naturally from the interior to a porcelain-paved patio, where a Corten Steel water feature adds a modern focal point. Surrounding it, we incorporated vibrant flower beds with low-maintenance perennials and evergreens, ensuring year-round colour and texture. Moving further, we created an inviting entertaining area, featuring a white-rendered wall showcasing outdoor art, paired with a stylish coffee table and comfortable seating. Soft, ambient lighting brings the space to life in the evening, perfect for hosting friends and family.

Just beyond the seating area, we installed a sleek, modern sauna that offers a warm, relaxing retreat, perfect for unwinding in contrast to the cool, fresh outdoor environment. Adjacent to that, we added a chill tub on a contemporary deck, covered by a cantilever pergola.

Privacy was essential for the client, so we built modern slatted fencing and planted pleached hornbeam trees to screen the space effectively. Each feature is thoughtfully connected, allowing the garden to function as both a lively entertainment area and a quiet retreat.
