The Lilliput School Summer Fair enabled us to showcase Planting Works as a local Garden Design business to the community.  The Summer Fair took place on Saturday 18th June 2016.  Planting Works provided advice on Garden Design, Planting Plans and Plant Identification.

 

A variety of gardens were discussed including vicarage gardens with formal lawns, new property developments with screening issues, family gardens which require exciting solutions and different areas for the children to play in, gardens with different levels to be made into more practical spaces.

A number of people felt they had gardens which would be too difficult to ‘fix’ and their gardens were currently out of control.  Planting Works were able to offer a free consultation service to these clients to view the gardens, discuss the issues and provide solutions in a conceptual design.

We have since been to the majority of gardens discussed at the fair and provided Garden Conceptual Designs for the new clients.  Some of these are new projects which will be implemented in the near future by Planting Works.

Plant Sale

Tomato plants, Ligustrum balls, Lavandula angustifolia and Verbena bonariensis were sold on the stand with all profits going to the school PTA.
