Poole: Modern Contemporary Garden Transformation

We recently transformed a traditional garden into a stylish and functional outdoor space designed around circular geometry and natural textures. The layout introduces a series of defined entertainment zones, using sawn sandstone paving to create a bright, contemporary foundation that instantly lifts the overall feel of the garden.

To add character and movement, we used curved edging stones to form soft, circular lines that guide the eye and shape distinct spaces for relaxing and entertaining. Throughout the design, we introduced new planting areas, blending evergreens and flowering perennials to bring a more natural, organic rhythm to the garden.

Varying levels were introduced through a mix of raised and ground-level beds, offering both structural interest and layered planting opportunities. The circles do more than add visual impact—they help break up the space functionally, with areas for dining, lounging, and quiet retreat, all flowing effortlessly from one to the next.

We also reimagined the under-stair area, turning it into smart, integrated storage that blends seamlessly into the overall design without wasting an inch of space. The result is a garden that balances clean lines and soft landscaping, offering multiple zones for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors throughout the year.
